# Notiky

> Notiky is the project foundation workspace for the vibe-coding era. It helps solo founders and small builder teams turn rough product ideas into structured, approved context that AI coding agents can reliably follow.

## What Notiky does

Notiky solves the core bottleneck in AI-assisted development: **context quality**. Code generation is cheap. Misalignment is expensive.

When builders use messy prompts and fragmented notes, AI coding agents produce:
- architecture drift
- duplicated patterns
- inconsistent business logic
- unstable codebase behaviour
- expensive rewrite loops

Notiky gives coding agents a clean, versioned, approved foundation so they produce better first-pass code.

## Core workflow

1. **Talk** — Describe your raw idea in chat. No structure needed.
2. **Brainstorm** — The AI asks clarifying questions, surfaces missing decisions, and proposes options.
3. **Ship** — Notiky generates foundation documents. You review, edit, and approve them. Export as a context pack.
4. **Connect** — Attach Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or GitHub to Notiky through MCP and codebase sync.

## Foundation artifacts generated

Notiky produces six core project foundation documents:

- **Product Vision** — Core thesis, target users, and success criteria
- **Product Rules** — Constraints, interaction model, and behaviour guidelines
- **System Architecture** — Data model, layers, module boundaries, and tech choices
- **Tech Stack** — Framework, database, auth, billing, and service decisions
- **Project Structure** — File layout, naming conventions, and module organisation
- **MVP Scope** — What is and is not in v1, with clear delivery boundaries

These documents are versioned, approval-gated, and exportable as markdown files for use in Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Windsurf.

## MCP and codebase sync

Notiky also acts as a remote MCP source of truth:

- import an existing local repo into Notiky through MCP using derived summaries, manifests, and selected key files
- attach GitHub repos or monorepo scopes to a project
- keep default-branch sync history and repo drift visible inside the project
- preserve approved artifacts as canonical truth while synced codebases remain observational input

## Who Notiky is for

**Primary users:** Solo founders building with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf).

**Secondary users:** Founder-engineer duos shipping rapidly with AI agents.

**Not for:** Large enterprise PM organisations, heavyweight planning workflows, or generic documentation platforms.
